In the southeastern Slovakia not far away from Košice in the midst of fir and spruce forests on the southern slopes of the Slovak Ore Mountains is located the climatic Štos spa. Its natural curative factor consists in the submontane moderately stimulating climate. For climatic treatment it possesses an extraordinary suitable position, opened southward at 670 m above sea level.
